BMW 328 Forum : “seat motor”

seat motor

Does the seat have one motor and if it moves up and down and tilts but will not move forward and backward could it still be the motor, or should I look at the switch? everything looks connected and no obstructions in the tracks. I just need to know where to look first without buying parts I dont need. thanks
