Want to know how to tune-up a Chevy truck k1500. Poor drive ability.

Running poorly-having trouble with the tune-up. Nothing seems to work-know matter
what I do. It sputters & misses, back fires with no power, & bogges down when you  step
on the excerlerator peddle. How do you do a proper tune-up proceedure?
