1993 chevy 1500 no power to radio or lighter.

I have a 1993 chevy C/K 1500. The radio, cigerette lighter and interior dome light worked until I changed out the alternator. Now there is no power to any of the three listed above. fuses seem to be good. Alt. belt is tight. What is the problem?

Check the maxi fuses in the engine compartment fuse box.
