Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1994 Chevy GM C/K 1500 wont start without jump starting it. I put a new battery in it
and it won't turn over. I jump started it and it ran and then i stopped and turned it off and
try to start it again and it wont turn over again. It sounds like the battery is dead but the
battery is brand new and i tried it with 3 different test batteries as well. Please help

I also pour baking soda and water on the terminal to get some of the corrosion off and I have also checked to make sure that the negative cable is connected tightly to ground.

sounds like the starter is drawing to many amps...first check the wires/cables then replace the starter/solenoid....
