Hi. There is some times 3 ways to tell #1 Alot of times it will say on top of the valve cover #2 Open your hood and look under it, there maybe a white tag about 4"x6". This is your emissions tag. It shows the vac routing and should should the cid #3 If that tag is not under the bottom side of the hood, look on the front around the fan shroud or the fire wall. If all else fails. Ask some one at a shop

It will have the 3.1 liter V-6 , check the VIN plate in the bottom corner- driver side of windshield.

well its not hard really there were only three engines used in the luminas from 90 to 94 the 3.1,3.4,2.5 the only one that came with the 3.4 was the z34 so pretty much all euro came with the 3.1 thanks
