this is actually THE COMMON Problem with this car. most of them have this same issue - absoluytely the year 2002 had this issue no matter what the miles. I'm actually looking to find out WHEN THIS PROBLEM WAS FIXED! What Year if any did Buick finally fix this defect - should be a recall!

The window "guides" in these cars swell up and "grab" the window such that it won't go up/down. If you purchase a can of "Liquid Wrench" or Lithium Grease and spray it in the window tracks you will find that the windows travel up/down much better. There are several videos to this affect on Youtube.

I am not a mechanic, but have a 2000 Buick LeSabre. Only one window goes up and down and that cost 350 to repair. Electric windows suck. Are people so lazy they can’t hand crank a window? This is strictly done to sell cars and repair is down the line. Go back to crank windows GM. Another problem with Buick LeSabre’s is that the fans will stay on after your turn the key off and drain your battery. I just ended up having a great mechanic pull the plug on the fan so it won’t drain the battery. The AC doesn’t work anyway so I’m fine with that. YouTube always has a lot of great instruction videos if you want to see it visually . To all the other people out there that own Buick LeSabres you have my condolences.
