My 04 town and country started missing and engine light flashing. Changed ingniton coil and plugs and wires but still has these problems. Can someone tell me what to look at.

I have taken it to several mechanics but they say the computer won't communicate. They say it may be a relay or circuit but no one can tell me where. Please help.

No communication w ecm is symptomatic of ecm failure.

Chryslers are NOTORIOUS for needing prom updates to software,or total flashing to ecm, this service CANNOT BE PERFORMED AT MOM AND POPS SHOP.
What do I need to do to fix it. My husband is disabled and blind so I am trying to do this myself. Don't mean to sound dumb. But what is the ecm and where is it located.
My van still runs just not good. The cd/dvd lights are flashing on and off also. It gives codes of the ignition coil bad and and O2 sensor. I changed the ignition coil but it is still saying bad.
