how often do I need to replace my timing chane. I have 270,000 on my 07 CRV
If you are going to change it, I would do it now. It will reset the cams and the engine will perform better. I don't know if there is a recommended interval for replacing the chain. If yours is original, it is probably worn out by now.
man, talk about a good engine!
And still get 26+ miles a gallon
You don't have to change a chain, just make sure your timing is correct. Your timing chain should last the life of the car.
