Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just paid Midas 1314.44 for new struts on my 2006 Forrester LL Bean - you know the one witht he self leveling struts that do NOT come with the life time warranty? well, it did not help the ride at all and I still feel that I am hitting each bump to hard.  what the heck? I thought I needed struts?
