both of my tail lights went out at the same time when I hooked up trl plug. I noticed a little
spark at the plug when I pushed it in, But looking in the fuse box both ignition and window

ignition and window fuses have nothing to do with your taillights. you will have to get out your owners manual to find the fuse for the taillights. you will not be able to tell if it's good unless you pull the fuse out. you need to check your trailer and figure out where the wiring is messed up or you will blow the fuse again as soon as you hook the trailer up again.
