Can a egr valve on sc 2 be cleaned?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought bad gas last winter..since than the check engine light will
come on than turn off randomly. !  Diagnostic  report egr valve stuck
my little stick shift car does not run different ly or idle roughly when
light is on...just can't het light to stay off.  Inspection due HELP

REPLACE IT, DON'T CLEAN IT, COULD HAVE BEEN A DEFECTIVE PART.

could just be the base gasket..if diaphram is broken replace it....

Do you have to start the car with the egr valve off when u reset the computer?
