my saturn's transmission thuds when changing gears

when's the last time you changed your transmission fluid I have the same exact car but I have a 2001 sc2 and I replaced my transmission fluid with Mobil 1 full synthetic twice and the car has 80,000 miles on it and the first time I did it it got better and the second time it's made it way better so its just really smooth now I'd recommend getting full synthetic transmission fluid or it too could be a motor mount but get back to us let us know what you did?
