2002 Saturn s series 3 door won't start

Purchased battery a few months ago but went to
start car and dead had battery checked and its
fine.got a jump but car wouldn't start no firing I've
got fuel in car but fuel gage says empty I replaced
fuel filter and still nothing please help

Wen u get jump does it crank? 1. Check if ur actually getting fuel to engine. 2. Check if ur getting spark to plugs. U need to know those basic things first. Do u have anyone can do this for u? Or watch YouTube to c if someone can show u or Google how to check or car for this. Its a start short of a mechanic. If u go to mechanic make sure u trust him or that a friend knows one they trust!
