Turning lights are not working consistenly

Asked by istrunina Nov 30, 2015 at 01:20 AM about the 2002 Saturn S-Series 3 Dr SC1 Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lately turning lights on my Saturn SC1 2002 started working very inconsistently: do not start blinking right away and I need to turn them on and off several times, sometime they start blinking but will stop after 2-3 blinks. Both directions - right and left turns. What it could be related to? Where should i go to fix it? What kind of a shop - regular repair or some specific?

I'd say first check your fuses and there's also a flasher unit that's installed in your fuse box it could be a fuse could be the flasher unit that's not operating do your hazards work ? because of your hazards work fine and it's probably not that flasher Unit then I would think it's probably a fuse or loose ground is my guess I would check those simple areas first and then go from there it might even be a loose bulb sometimes if one of the bulbs is loose the front turn signal even though it's okay we'll start blinking weird so check your bulbs check your fuses check all the simplistic things that you can do yourself before spending money to take it somewhere.
