car lacks acceleration....

Asked by Craig Feb 01, 2016 at 11:03 AM about the 2003 Saturn L-Series 4 Dr L200 Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

OK peoples.I have  replaced the fuel
pressure regulator the fuel pump the fuel
filter upstream and downstream o2
Sensorsand the map sensor and air temp.
Sensor.throttle body position sensor new
spark plugs.still won't accelerate past like
40 mph unless going down hill exhaust
sounds louder like a Honda .some people
said it the cat some people say that the
computer has to be reset professionally..
Any advice??¿¿

It is also hesitating starting .have to hold the key a lot longer for it to start.don't have the machine to check it any other way to check the exhaust?

I use a thermometer . But you could use a stethoscope and listen for air flow. Any check engine light? Need more info dude. U could have a number of issues. Ie. Faulty crank sensor. Bad pcm. Electrical. Lots of stuff. Like how's your coolant? Is it low?

I have a 2003 L300 Saturn and it run an everything but while the car in drive it will not accelerate and when I put it in gear it makes a wining noise
