clutch

I put a clutch n new cables in a99 saturn.car
will shift fine with engine off...car will not
shift with engine running...any ideas here

Yes, the slave cylinder which is fed by the master cylinder. If the clutch isn't disengaging then either the slave cylinder isn't moving the clutch fork due to alignment or lack of pressure when pushing the pedal. If you are certain that the all of the parts are installed correctly bleeding the hydraulic system is in order.
