my car does not run in the rain. i was told the coil pack could be the problem. What is a coil pack? How would i fix this problem?

The coil pack is the replacement for the distributor cap and rotor in the newer GM distributorless ignition systems. It is an electrical part which will be attached to the spark plug wires.
