Supercharging the slade
Good evening everyone. I am in the process of supercharging my 07 escalade with the 6.2, 403 horse V8. I am wondering if the stock 6l80E transmission and the stock AWD transfercase will take the extra ponies? No one can answer this yet. I know the 6L80E is a very strong unit but will it take 600ish horsepower?

Max torque for the gl80e is 664 foot pounds... what are you anticipating peak torque to be since horsepower is really a worthless number made up to advertise things.
If you're making that power at the 5000+ RPM range you'll be fine...
If you are cranking into the 600 hp range below 4000 RPM you'll likely have some trouble...
I don't know the specs on the rest of the drivetrain...
