fan won't stop running,plenty of water

fan running and gauge not registrring weather hot or not is this a sensor problem

Not sure I had an acura to that would run for a few minutes after shutdown. Did it mostly in the summer. It might have a temperature sensor for that. If it never shuts off relay or temperature sensor. .
