Is there an after market way to convert the rear hatch to a power hatch for openning and closing?

I have a lift installed in my terraza to get my scooter in, but now my shoulders are bad and I find it very hard to open and close the very heavy rear hatch.

I am striking out as to who and where I can have the hatch converted to power.

Yes, try a handicap conversion van dealer, they do this type of thing all the time.
