What would make my 95 Buick Roadmaster Wagon run hot almost immediately? New radiator just installed.

Car had been sitting for 2 years.  I put in a new radiator and flushed the lines but it runs hot in just a few minutes. Changed the thermostat and it still does it.  Should the fans be running all the time or in sequence or whatever.
