I have a Volvo V70 – 1999 and every time I put it from reverse in drive, the engine turns off. For example, I start the car, put it in reverse and back out of the driveway.....everything is fine. I go to put it in drive and the car shuts off. I’ve took it into the Volvo dealer 2 times to check the transmission, but every thing was fine. I was wondering if anyone had any idea why it would be doing this?

neutral safety switch is shorting?
