water in transmission (flood vehicle)

Yes, the vehicle will have problems in the future. If there was water in the trans and it was flushed properly and not driven, maybe you will be OK, but a rebuild or replacement might be due soon. Also all wiring will be suspect so be ready for electrical issues and future rust I would walk away if I were you.
