The 2.4T engine started in the early 90's in the 850's and then found it in the xc70, v70, & s70.

That being said, the 2.4t was used in the S60's since conception in 98, like Tim stated.

What exactly are you looking for?

p.s. I have a 2.4t in my 2000 v70.

The 2.4t first appeared in 99, and replaced the 2.5t. The 2.4t was replaced by the 2.5t in 2003(?). All these engines were 2435 ccm, the 2000 R AWD were also 2435 ccm, but was called 2,4l.
