Hi Ferralls! The usual procedure here is to go up from under the car, but in the case of your car that's probably difficult. Try it but if you can't get it unlatched you may want to take a drive by your local dealership with a fresh cup of coffee. Maybe you can entice a service guy to put his experience to work for you. Chances are these guys have seen it before and they may have a quick fix or back door. Good luck!
