Hi Ferralls! The usual procedure here is to go up from under the car, but in the case of your car that's probably difficult. Try it but if you can't get it unlatched you may want to take a drive by your local dealership with a fresh cup of coffee. Maybe you can entice a service guy to put his experience to work for you. Chances are these guys have seen it before and they may have a quick fix or back door. Good luck!

Don't go and down on hood the hood will bend when open let someone who knows alpr about cars fix or bend back lock ass or adjust.pull cable away from end before doing this you need to know how and what the function of the lock is. Sounds like cable stretched a little this is being caused by overopening the hood latch pulling to hard after release.
