Fuel leakage from the tank area

When I reverse there is leakage and scent of gas or fuel from the tank area of my 2006 Nissan Murano s AWD

hold a match up to it and try to find that leak! but really, can you see it leaking anywhere? if you see fuel then I would be pretty worried about it. Try to see if there is fuel on the ground. I would definitely take it somewhere if you do. You don't want to mess with a gas leak.

Thanks for the information. I sent it to Japan Motors and had the problem fixed. So far I have not observed the problem again.
