First thing I'd do is get a vehicle history report such as carfax, autocheck, etc. That way you'll know if it's been in an accident & how many owners the vehicle's had. I believe a 10 year old vehicle that is a one owner that has never been hit is worth more than one who has had 3 or 4 owners or been in an accident. You'll also want to visit pricing websites like NADA, Kelly Blue Book, etc. This will give you a good idea of fair market value as well as let you make an informed car buying decision. Good luck in your purchase! HTH. -Jim
