Some of the same old aspects of Bimmer maintenance hold true no matter the model. The V-8 requires almost twice as much service as the inline 6, due to components and engine setup. This hits consumers when the vehicles come out of warranty. Beyond that, the chassis is the same, the body is the same. Option packages can vary as far as creature features go. I hope that helps.
