I'm gonna say head gasket failure or a cracked cylinder head
It could be rainwater pooling on the engine and getting sucked in by vacuum at a bad PCV gasket under the cap on top of the intake manifold. The recess in the manifold for the PCV is directly under the lip of the cowl and allows water to pool there, then get sucked in by vacuum when the engine is running. Cleaned the cap, removed old gasket and replaced with high temp RTV sealant. No more water in engine after a very heavy rainy season.
