About: 1987 Toyota Corolla SR5
Just Got A 1987 Corolla sr5!!!!!
I need any sugestions on what kind of engine to put in the sr5 corolla?
the 4a-ge or is there anything better and faster than it.???

if you want stick the silver top 20 valve in it or if you want to make it an sr86 put a sr20 in it
im going to swap a 20 valve in to my trueno the 4age is good but the 20 valve is better and faster

put a blacktop 20v the silvertop has a stupid mechanical flap in the airbox which breaks and its not an easy job to fix thats for sure

the black tops are hard to get ahold of now yea the silver top has that stupid flap that is a bitch and a half to fix but you can throw more mods on the silver top then the black top they both are good engines in my opinion
