Any other symptoms or info you can share? Did you check the voltage on the battery, is the fuel pump priming, etc. Just happen?

It will start after turning the key several times and sometimes it crank but none of the lights will work and the dashboard stays dark

I found out it was the key all alone had to change the batteries in the key
