If you want the very best use a fully synthetic like Mobil1 or equivalent, maybe 10/40

The Euro cars have specific oil requirements. The 2002 MB's use the 229.3 or 229.5 type. Not all Mobil1 products meet these requirements. ---- "Vehicles with the Flexible Service System FSS from MY1998-2004 can use 229.5 or 229.3 oils."
