car has accessory power, nothing when you try to turn over

I recently  had a friend  replace  serpentine  belt on 2000 v-6 camero. I drove oce about  
30 minutes it was fine. Two weeks later (car sitting,hasnt been started) with key o , light
radio all play turn over nothing, complete siclence.  What could be wrong.  Does the belt
need adjusted?

Its not the belt. You have a short in the starting system. Is the safety switches working properly. If so then the starter solenoid or relay is open.
