I have a 2006 3500 with 5.9 24 valve cummins, since I did the last oil & filter change two weeks ago I have been getting a check gages alarm when I come to a stop or idle speed.

Ck the battey ground cable at the battery and the engine. Also ck the ground strap between the engine and cab/chassis. Both of these can cause your problem. If both are clean and tight use a multimeter and ck the alternator output at idle to make sure it is charging properly. Make sure to ck both batteries cables. If only one in engine compartment look under passenger side for 2nd battery.
