I have an 02 ram 2500 I installed the in tank pump
and bypassed the one on the block but can't get
the system to prime to the fuel rail what am I doing
wrong? It seems as if the in tank pump isn't
working at all

Is this a gas or diesel? You have a pump on block? If you have the Cummings diesel is it in this image? (click on it) That is the lift pump, can't be eliminated

Without the fuel injector pump the engine cannot run.

Yes it's a Cummins the unit I had for the tank did not have a pump. Dodge only offers an in tank retrofit now so I did that but the in tank pump doesn't seem to be pumping
