i'll start with the mount, is it a stock or aftermarket mount? if its stock it should be pretty straight foreward, you may have to put a jack under the engine to get it to line up properly. if its an aftermarket mount you must remove the factory dowel on the bracket before you install the mount. as for the overheating, without further details its hard to diagnose. could be air trapped in the system, bad rad cap, bad thermostat, water pump, or even a clogged rad. I'm assuming the fans work?
