About: 1998 Chevrolet S-10 2 Dr LS Extended Cab SB
tires
I am using my 98 s-10 as a work truck. I added air bags and am wondering what size tires can I go to in a LT series and don't have to buy new rims? Original tires are P205 75/R15.

Anything with 75/R15 in the information code will fit your stock rims.

No true. The higher your first number (the width) you go, the lower your second number needs to be. The second number is your height *ratio*. My rule of thumb is this: for every 10 cm in width, drop 5 in the ratio. thats if you want your speedo to be close to accurate. if you go say 225/75R15, your speedometer would be prolly about 10% behind the actual speed because your tires are taller.
The biggest you could go width-wise would probably be 225, without rubbing.
