1991 zr-2 auto won't go into four wheel drive. transfer case is ingaging but diff won't lock

have never had a problem with this truck prior to this happening. there is no noise or oil leaking from the diff case seems to be electral problem.what do i look for. fuses are good.

If you can tell that your front drive shaft is moving when you put it in 4 wheel drive then my best guess would be that your front axel Actuator is bad and can be replaced for around 60 bucks brand new. but all depending on if it is an electric or mechanical actuator. the actuator ingages the front wheels to move.

Or even could be just your front diff bad i would deff check the actuator first as it is way cheaper to replace then the front diff itself.
