2002 Chevy Impala won't start. How can this be fixed at a low cost?

First trip to Chevy dealership garage: BODY CONTROL MODULE was replace for over
$400.00. Car ran for a week, now won't start. On 2nd trip to Chevy garage: mechanic says
COOLING FANS need replacing. Price: over $800.  Is there a cheaper way to fix this??
