why my headlights always still on and i can't turn off with the swich?

GM cars come standard with "daytime running lights". In other words the headlights are on anytime the key is on to make you more visible to other drivers . If you push the parking brake down one or two clicks the lights will go out without actually applying the parking brake.

DRL is normally set to auto.. look for the off setting on the light control. it should be there

i know on bmw's drl had to be turned on/off by dealer computer only , if it doesn't have a switch there's a chance its the same way.
