About: 1995 Ford F-150 2 Dr XLT 4WD Extended Cab SB
engine & transmission
i just bought a really clean 1995 f150 4x4 with 190,000 miles. it has been well taken care of and runs good. how much longer will the trany
and engine last if properly maintained?

I'd bet you could get at least 50,000-100,000 miles out of it. The tranny will probably go out before anything else if it's an auto, but will last forever if it's a manual.

keep up with the oil changes, tune ups and maintenance and the engine will last to 300000 miles before it needs to be rebuilt, as long as you keep running premium gas. Ford has some of the best transmissions for longevity, it may last the life of the rest of the vehicle.
