when parking on incline it will start but doesn't stay running unless I excelerate right away, hold it down for a couple seconds, then runs fine until parked on incline again.

A loose wire somewhere that disconnects when you are on a hill. Try parking down hill and see what happens if it stays running then it's a loose connection. Or a clogged fuel pump.

I had this problem when I turned certain corners and parked on hills now i am replacing my fuel pump and filter and needed a new wire harness but i have a 1995 320e mercedes wagon.

Low fuel level in the tank causing fuel not to be picked up by the in tank fuel pump while parked on an incline.
