There is sometimes a switch located in the fuse panel on the driver's side near where the door closes. If there is not, you may need to use a key on/key off sequence. Ask a dealership what the proper sequence is supposed to be if you don't have that switch for resetting it.

Turn the ignition to the ON position but do not start vehicle and press the gas pedal 3 times to the floor. You should see the light clear and the battery light will come on or you will hear it chime. If it doesn't work try pushing the gas pedal 5 times instead.
