Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 chevy cavalier has a 2.2 motor in it and I have replaced the coil pack module 3 times now within the last year.  new spark plugs also.  Does anyone know why this would keep happening?

Used. I am afraid to buy new in case there could be something wrong in another area and causing the part to go bad. I understand they could be bad when i bought them, however, with it being a common problem of the 2.2l engine, i was wondering if a problem elsewhere could be causing my modules to crap out.

Well if its a common problem then buying used ones isn't the solution. I would tune the car with 4 new plugs and coil packs and be done with it.
