how to program keyless entry remote without the original radio console installed for a 2005 Chevrolet Impala

i've ordered 2 keyless entry remotes and the following day i went out and made an attempt
to program them to my car. i did as the instructions they came with followed but no results
is there something I'm doing wrong or is there a component i still need. can someone
gives me some answers please

get in ur car lock ur door turn car on but dont start put in and tack out ur key 8 or so times make sure ur keyless entry remote is in the car after puting in and takeing out ur key ur blinkers will flash with out u touching them the take ur keyless entry remote and unlock ur doors if ur doors unlocked its programed if not repeat it agan i worked at nissan dealer i had to do it many times not sure if its the same as chevy thought but its worth a try ps.... dot have the old keyless entry remote anywere nere the car make sure its out of range or ur alarm syster will go crazy if this happend unplug batteri to clear it

I have tried to program my remote over and over by the instructions that you have given and that does not work

Take it to Chevy dealer service department and they will program it for free, took mine to Henry Martens this morning!

I have a 05 impala and tried to program key fob. As I scrolled through the settings on radio to search for “fob prog” it did not appear. Everything showed up on there except for that. Any suggestions?

Make sure you car even has a keyless remote system set up.then make sure the remote is capatiboe for your car.double check.everything.take your time doing so.good luck
