When I come to a stop light or decelerate the 2005 cobalt stop.Had coil ,ignition Module & spark plugs replaced. This started after getting gas as the ding indicated I needed gas.

Sounds like you have gotten hold of some bad gas maybe water in gas. Put in treatment for water in gas or a octane booster.

Thank you firebird338, went out and bought heet from Advance Auto & put it in gas tank.It has not helped the problem yet.This has really taxed my nerves. Been on YouTube reading everything about why it stops at signal lights.I really need someone to help me,on tight budget and not a spring chicken. toolgirl

Last April,I have a new one unopened in my car.Do you think it may be the mass airflow or idling need adjusting. I will have fuel filter changed this weekend.

Hey toolgirl what type of gas do you use in your vehicle if it is the low grade try some middle grade or high test gas that will make a difference also. You do not have to use it all the time but it helps to use it occasionally.

I'm sure there are some trouble codes on your car's computer. Wouldn't hurt to find out what they are before spending money on random parts and hoping for the best.
