on a 2005 chevy cavlair my check engine lite has been on for about 2 weeks but now it just keeps flashing, whats up?

Flashing means there is a severe issue and is damaging your catalytic converter! You need to take it to a mechanic immediately before you burn up a $1,000 catalytic converter! ASE GM certified mechanic
