mikob99-- With the filter you are talking 5.7 quarts of oil if your Toyota 4Runner is a 2WD. It is 5.5 quarts for the AWD. And just a hint for you- the most important maintenance reference for you (besides Bovan of Cargurus) is your owner's manual. The answer to most questions like these can be found right there. But who reads the owners manual? Well, my own mechanic, Tom Fahey from the Newton Street Garage in Brighton, Ma. told me that one question on his ASE certification test asked where one should look first for technical information. The correct answer was owners manual. Good luck from Bovan.
