will low ac refrigrent cause check engine liht to come on in 2006 chevy trailblazer?

started to run ac for awhile frist time this summer check engine light came on runs fine no other problems that im awhare of just that.

No but those vehicles are known for cooling fan issues. The fan will set a code. You may also be getting hotter because the ac condensor heats up with ac on and then tranfers that heat to radiator. Find out what the code is and we can go from there
