Two gallons of straight antifreeze should do it. IIRC my Grand Am 2.2L is 16 quarts.

2 gallons dexcool and have a little of distilled water for the reserve tank.

If you are going to do a complete, and I mean a thorough, flush, you can switch to the Prestone green 'universal' coolant, which comes either pre-mixed to 50/50 or as a concentrate. If you are topping up, make sure you use the Dexcool.
